Couple Photoshoot | Albany, NY | Upstate New York

It’s not often photographers receive gifts, but today was one of those rare moments!

Immediately when Kerry & Noah arrived for their couple photoshoot, Kerry handed me one of her signature beautiful paintings – a landscape of New York’s Central Park in the fall. Thank you, Kerry; I’ll treasure it always! Kerry and Noah arrived in beautifully coordinated pastel blue outfits, which I knew would complement the vibrant greenery perfectly.

Kerry & Noah’s personalities are so endearing. They were both very shy at the beginning of their portrait session, but by the end, they had become experts at posing! Their smiles translated beautifully to the camera and created such a warm feeling in the final photos.

Despite Kerry & Noah’s quiet personalities, don’t let that fool you – both have incredible dedication and guts in their everyday lives! Noah commutes a long way to New York City for work, which would quickly burn out most people, but Noah made it clear he loves his job and is willing to make the commute work. Kerry recently switched jobs, which in this economy is always brave to do! Getting settled into a new work environment is challenging enough, and I couldn’t imagine having a hobby that requires so much patience like painting in my free time. Her passion shines through with every stroke of the paintbrush!

Even though this was Kerry & Noah’s first time modeling, I can honestly say this was one of the fastest photoshoots I’ve done in recent memory! They even expressed a desire to continue shooting a little longer – that’s the best compliment any photographer can receive!
