Morgan and Derek Engagement Session

I had tears in my eyes from laughing so much! This photoshoot was a much needed break for me!

From the moment Morgan and Derek arrived to their engagement session I knew this was going to be a fun day. They both arrived in high spirits and immediately told me “we are down for anything” which is honestly music to a photographers ear! My eyes were immediately drawn to Morgans beautiful dress which was the exact shade of green as the trees that surrounded us. Her beige Chelsea boots and her Boyfriend Derecks pale blue attire helped create a beautiful range of earth tones which couldn’t be easier to photograph.

As soon as we started shooting their humor immediately started shining through. It usually takes 15-20 minutes for a couple to warm up to the camera but these two were comfortable immediately! Morgan and Derek were unapologetically themselves with every click of the shutter. Love is so dynamic not only in terms of romance but also personalities and this couple is definitely compatible!

As the session went on I think I captured some of the best laughing candids I have ever taken! While walking Morgan and Derek could barely hold it together they were laughing so much, Morgan in her platform boots almost took a spill! The hour flew by so quickly you almost wish that the session lasted longer. In the short time I had spend with them Morgan and Derek I can tell that these two know each other by the back of their hand. Through their jokes, body language and how they can tell how the other is feeling!

I know for a fact that their wedding day will be filled with joy and laughter! Thank you for the fun time guys!
